Dogfish Head Brewery and Pub are located in Rehoboth Beach, Deleware. They opened in 1995 and in just one year began bottling their products to ship to other states! Their reputation has quickly grown for their unique style beers and that’s why Mr. Bill’s Wine Cellar is hosting a Dogfish Head Brewery Tasting! We’re giving you a chance to taste several Dogfish Beers, so you can see why their slogan is
“Off-centered ales for off-centered people!”
To get you excited, here’s a list of some beers that Dogfish Brews…
60 minute IPA- continuously hopped — more than 60 hop additions over a 60-minute boil.
90 minute IPA- was the first beer they continuously hopped, allowing for a pungent — but not crushing — hop flavor.
Burton Baton- they brew two batches, of beer to make this Oak-Aged IPA: an English-style old ale and an imperial IPA!
Midas Touch- This sweet yet dry beer is made with ingredients found in 2,700-year-old drinking vessels from the tomb of King Midas. Somewhere between wine and mead, Midas can please the chardonnay and beer drinker alike.
Raison D’Etre- A deep mahogany, Belgian-style brown ale brewed with beet sugar, raisins and Belgian-style yeast.
My Antonia- a continually-hopped imperial pilsner. This lager for ale lovers is citrusy, sweet and refined.
Red and White- a big, Belgian-style witbier brewed with coriander and orange peel and fermented with pinot noir juice.
Saison du Buff- A Collaboration ale with Stone and Victory, this Saison is brewed with parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme!
